Celebrate Mother’s Day a little early with an afternoon of big laughs at The Alley Stage! Because nothing says “Mom deserves a break” like a 5:00 PM comedy show that gets you home, cozy, and in your PJs by sundown.

Hosted by our April resident comedian Emily Holden, this special edition of Momedy on the Square features a lineup of her favorite mom-powered comedians bringing the real, hilarious, and slightly unhinged side of motherhood to the stage. Expect sharp takes, relatable chaos, and the kind of laughs that might make you snort (no judgment—we’re among friends here).

Whether you’re a mom, grandma, mom-to-be, stepmom, dog mom, or just someone who survived being raised by one, this show is for you. Let’s be honest—your mom doesn’t need another candle… she needs a night out and a reason to laugh this hard.

It’s the perfect mix of heart, humor, and a few surprises along the way—ideal for first-time guests and Alley regulars alike.

Atlanta-based comedian and host Emily Holden has never met a stage she didn’t love—or an audience member she didn’t turn into a friend. She tours nationally with Moms Unhinged and was a top finalist in Helium Comedy Club’s Funniest Atlantan competition in 2025.

Online ticket sales cut off approximately one hour before showtime. Tickets may be available for purchase at the door, depending on capacity.

Our venue has cabaret seating, which means that you and your party may be sharing a table with other guests. Seating is assigned on the night of the show by our Maitre d’. Our standard tables seat four guests. If you have seating requests with other parties, please include those requests in your order notes or email info@alleystage.org.

To avoid disruption, late seating is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of management. We cannot guarantee that late arrivals will be seated together. Tickets may be re-sold or forfeited if guests have not arrived by showtime.

There is a two drink/item purchase minimum per person.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time of each event, unless otherwise noted.

The Alley Stage is located on the Historic Marietta Square. There is ample free and paid parking on the Square. Please plan to arrive early to find parking.

All sales are final. In the event that you are unable to attend a performance that you have tickets for, you can exchange your ticket for another upcoming event or receive a credit towards a future order. All exchanges or credit requests must be sent to info@alleystage.org at least 24 hours before your scheduled show. Requests received on the day of or after an event will not be eligible.
