What happens when opening night goes completely off the rails?

Opening Night is a fully improvised, full-length play created right before your eyes—because the show that was supposed to happen… doesn’t.

When unforeseen circumstances force the cancellation of a scheduled production, our cast is left with no script, no set, and no plan. What follows is a completely original two-act play, built in the moment from a single audience suggestion.

From the first line of dialogue to the final curtain call, every character, relationship, and plot twist is discovered in real time—resulting in a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience that will never be performed again.

It’s bold. It’s unpredictable. It’s theatre on the edge.

And somehow… opening night must go on.

Online ticket sales cut off approximately one hour before showtime. Tickets may be available for purchase at the door, depending on capacity.

Lineup is subject to change.

Our venue has cabaret seating, which means that you and your party may be sharing a table with other guests. Seating is assigned on the night of the show by our Maitre d’. Our standard tables seat four guests. If you have seating requests with other parties, please include those requests in your order notes or email info@alleystage.org.

To avoid disruption, late seating is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of management. We cannot guarantee that late arrivals will be seated together. Tickets may be re-sold or forfeited if guests have not arrived by showtime.

There is a two drink/item purchase minimum per person.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time of each event, unless otherwise noted.

The Alley Stage is located on the Historic Marietta Square. There is ample free and paid parking on the Square. Please plan to arrive early to find parking.

All sales are final. In the event that you are unable to attend a performance that you have tickets for, you can exchange your ticket for another upcoming event or receive a credit towards a future order. All exchanges or credit requests must be sent to info@alleystage.org at least 24 hours before your scheduled show. Requests received on the day of or after an event will not be eligible.
