OPENING NIGHT! FULL-LENGTH IMPROVISED PLAY
The Alley Stage is thrilled to announce Opening Night, a brand-new monthly long-form improv production, an entirely improvised, two-act play that unfolds in real time right before the audience’s eyes. Each performance runs approximately 90 minutes and features a full narrative arc crafted spontaneously by the ensemble.
We’re building a cast of eight experienced improvisors and actors who are passionate about long-form storytelling and ensemble-driven work. Each performance will feature six players, with two alternates to provide flexibility in scheduling. Performers will receive a share of ticket sales for each show.
Audition Details
Date: Saturday, November 8
Time: 2:00–5:00 PM (30-minute group slots of six)
Location: The Alley Stage, Marietta Square | 11 Anderson Street, Marietta, GA 30064
Auditions will be led by Jason Latimer, Associate Improv Director and Opening Night Showrunner, along with Casey Navarro, Mainstage Improv Director, and Colt Chambers, Owner and Producer of The Alley Stage.

To be considered, please complete the audition form linked below. Due to limited slots and the show’s ensemble nature, we may not be able to accommodate all applicants. Selected participants will receive a confirmation email with their assigned time slot and audition details.
Rehearsals & Performances
Rehearsals will be held weekly at The Alley Stage, typically Saturday mornings/afternoons or Sunday afternoons, depending on cast availability.
Performances will take place one Thursday each month as part of our regular programming lineup.
